Clinical Records and Security

Clinical records are maintained using secure electronic practice-management systems and, where applicable, secure electronic or paper storage maintained by Recovery Calgary.

Access to client information is limited to individuals who require access for legitimate professional or administrative purposes.

Recovery Calgary uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, loss, or destruction.

Recovery Calgary retains adult clinical records for a minimum of 10 years following the last professional service provided to the client.

When records are no longer required for legal, professional, insurance, or legitimate business purposes, they may be securely destroyed or deleted using methods appropriate to the form in which the information is stored.

Payments

Credit-card payments are processed through a third-party payment processor. Recovery Calgary does not store clients’ credit-card numbers.

Clients may also make payments by electronic bank transfer.
